Who paints the bags?
Founder and Jaipur artist Satish Khorwal personally paints every LEATHURA bag, drawing on 30 years of experience in handicrafts and Rajasthani art.
What fits inside?
Our slings come in three verified sizes: horizontal slings (7.5″ × 5.5″), vertical slings (7.2″ × 9.6″), and rounded slings (10″ × 8″), each crafted with a genuine leather strap and black canvas interior. Satchels and backpacks feature a genuine leather interior without canvas lining; their dimensions are currently being confirmed by the studio.
How do I care for the painted surface?
Each piece is personally hand-painted and sealed for resilience against light water splashes and everyday wear. Gently wipe with a soft microfiber cloth; avoid alcohol, solvents, and harsh treatments. Visit our Care Guide for comprehensive maintenance instructions.
